PSYCHOTHERAPY AS  LABYRINTH

A labyrinth is a metaphor for life's journey as we move towards our centre and back out into the world again. It's an ancient symbol for wholeness, rebirth and emergence. Walking a labyrinth is much like the process of psychotherapy, as one journeys to the centre of their deepest self and back out into the world with a broadened understanding of who they are.

Walking a labrinth is done with conscious awareness, and is both an inner journey as much as it is an outer one. There is no right way or wrong way to walk it, as the way in is also the way out. Unlike a maze which has blind alleys and puzzels to be solved, with a labyrinth the only choice to be made is whether to enter or not.

On this website I provide a wide range of resources for clients who are thinking of making this journey, or who have begun it, as well as providing helpful information for the interested public and therapists alike.
